May 19th, 2013 - After seeing the racing program nixed by rain at Florence Speedway (Union, Kentucky) on Saturday night Kent traveled to Vermillion County Speedway (Danville, Illinois) on Sunday evening for a $2,000-to-win race with the Sunoco American Late Model Series (ALMS). Twenty-one entries registered for battle, and Robinson blazed to his heat race win to earn a starting spot on the second row. He ran in the top five for the duration of the event before Shannon Babb spun with just two laps to go and collected him, ending Robinson's night in the sixteenth position. May 11th, 2013 - Kent Robinson made the trek to northern Illinois for a doubleheader of $10,000-to-win, Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) events over the weekend at La Salle Speedway (La Salle, Illinois).

Friday night saw Mother Nature rear her ugly head once again as heavy rain from Thursday night caused the track to be too soft and wet, and track officials were forced to postpone the program just before hot laps.

On Saturday evening better track conditions awaited the competitors, and thirty-eight Super Late Model pilots registered for business at the 1/4 mile oval. After qualifying tenth fastest in his group in time trials Robinson started fifth in his heat race. A fifth place finish in his heat race left him just short of locking into the feature, and as a result he had to run a b-main, which he won to earn the seventeenth starting spot for the 50 lap finale. With a heavy and unfavorable conditions awaiting the competitors in the feature Kent retired early to a twenty-fifth place finish.
