Twenty-four Super Late Models took to the 3/8 mile oval for the NDRL Super Late Model event, and a 3rd place finish in his heat race positioned Kent starting 7th on the grid for the 30 lap finale. For the first half of the feature Robinson battled in the top ten before handling issues found him retiring to a 21st place finish.

On Saturday night Kent enjoyed a great outing in the $5,000-to-win program. With 26 entries on hand for the program Kent started his night by qualifying 2nd fastest in his group to earn a front row starting spot for his heat race. Robinson outdueled Blankenship to claim his heat race win, which would set the stage for an epic battle in the feature. With the top two finishers from heat race action moving onto the redraw for the 40 lap feature, Kent received the 6th starting spot. As the feature went green he began working his way forward through the pack, and by lap 12 was up to the 2nd spot behind leader, John Blankenship. Over the remainder of the event Robinson challenged Blankenship for the lead before ultimately settling for a 2nd place finish.

The final night of the long trip to the West drew to a close on Sunday night with a final $5,000-to-win event. Kent enjoyed another fast start to his night as he set quick time in his group before storming to his heat race win to lock into the redraw for the 40 lap feature. After receiving the 4th starting spot for the finale Robinson quickly worked into the 3rd spot early in the feature. On a lap 24 restart he shot past Billy Moyer Jr. into the 2nd spot as he set his sights on the leader Phillips. Kent pressured the leader on multiple occasions before settling for a 2nd place finish in as many nights.

1January 19th, 2014 - The 2nd Annual Winter Extreme resumed at Tucson International Raceway (Tucson, Arizona) on Friday night with a $3,000-to-win program that attracted a field of 56 entries to the 3/8 mile oval. Qualifying resulted in Kent starting 6th on the grid for his heat race, but he blasted through the field on his way to a 2nd place finish, which sent him to the feature in the 9th starting spot. In the 30 lap finale Robinson battled in the top ten early in the event before an ill-handling car saw him retire to a 20th place finish.

Saturday night found the winner's purse increased to $5,000 for the NDRL program as 56 entries again passed through the pit gate. Kent started his night by qualifying fastest in his group before finishing 3rd in his heat race to lock into the 18th starting spot for the 40 lap finale. Robinson battled around mid-pack during the race's early stages before contact caused him to spin. He would receive minimal damage, but decided to retire from the event to save his equipment. He was credited with a 20th place finish.

Kent competed in the final event in the miniseries on Sunday night at Tucson International Raceway as a $10,000 top prize was posted for the NDRL competitors. With 52 entries on hand Robinson qualified fastest in his group and then blazed to his heat race win to earn a spot in the redraw for the 50 lap finale. The redraw presented Robinson with the 4th starting spot. He would go on to battle in the top five throughout the event before crossing the finish line in the 5th position behind race winner, Ryan Gustin, Shane Clanton, John Blankenship, and A.J. Diemel.

1January 15th, 2014 - Kent Robinson opened the 2014 season in his #7r JB's Salvage/Club 29/Jay Dickens Racing Engine Super Late Model on Saturday night in the opening round of the 2nd Annual Winter Extreme at Tucson International Raceway (Tucson, Arizona).

Fifty-seven Super Late Models entered the program, which was sanctioned by the National Dirt Racing League, and via time trials and the invert Robinson earned the 5th starting spot for his heat race. He would go on to finish 5th in his heat race, which relegated him to a b-main. In the b-main he ran in the 2nd and final transfer for much of the event before a mechanical failure exiting turn four on the white flag lap caused him to lose a spot as he missed the feature by a single position.

On Sunday evening the winner's check was increased to $5,000-to-win as 54 entries registered for action. Robinson started the night by finishing 3rd in his heat race to lock into the 17th starting spot for the 40 lap feature. Kent ran around mid-pack for the first half of the race before utlimately retiring from a race, where passing was difficult. He was credited with a 23rd place finish.

Wednesday's program found Kent getting things on track with a top ten finish in the $3,000-to-win feature. Forty-nine entries took part in the event, and Kent started his night by advancing to a 3rd place finish in his heat race to lock into the 15th starting spot for the 30 lap finale. In the main event he enjoyed a great run as he passed nine entries to finish 6th behind race winner, Billy Moyer, Brandon Sheppard, Chase Junghans, Jimmy Mars, and Chris Simpson.
