1June 28th, 2014 - Kent Robinson made the trek to Lernerville Speedway (Sarver, Pennsylvania) for the opening round of the 8th Annual Firecracker 100 on Thursday evening. A strong field of fifty-five entries were on hand for the World of Outlaws (WoO) Late Model Series program. After qualifying fifth in his group, Robinson went on to finish third in heat race to lock into the fourteenth starting spot for the $6,000-to-win feature. In the main event K-Rob retired early to a disappointing 28th place finish.

On Friday night another $6,000-to-win event was contested for the WoO Super Late Models. Kent started his outing by timing in third fastest in his group, and later finishing second in heat race action. As a result he started twelfth on the feature grid, and raced his way to a solid eighth place finish in the final rundown.

Saturday's $30,000-to-win finale found K-Rob starting second in his heat race via his preliminary efforts. He lay claim to the heat race win, locking him into the tenth starting spot for the 100 lap feature. In the main event Robinson battled around the top ten for much of the event before retiring to a nineteenth place finish.

June 21st, 2014 - Kent Robinson pulled double duty on Saturday night at Florence Speedway (Union, Kentucky), competing in both the American Modified Series (AMS) program and the track's weekly Super Late Model division.

1A talented field for forty-three Open Wheel Modifieds registered for the $1,500-to-win event. Robinson blazed to fast time honors in qualifications, and went on to win his heat race to position himself on the pole for the 30 lap feature. K-Rob bolted to the race lead at the drop of the green flag over Brandon Green, but Green would assume the point on the next circuit. Green began to motor away from the field as Robinson began to feel pressure from Shon Flanary for second. Robinson and Flanary would trade the position several times over the final 20 laps, but it would be Flanary who won the battle at the checkered flag. Robinson settled in third behind Green and Flanary while Josh Rice and Victor Lee rounded out the top five finishers. Full results are available at www.AmericanModifiedSeries.com

1A $2,000 winner's check was posted for Super Late Models as thirty-one entries registered for the event. A second place finish in heat race action would earn Kent the pole position for the 35 lap feature, with Duane Chamberlain alongside. When the race went green, Chamberlain took the lead with third starting Dustin Linville in tow as Robinson slipped back to third. The race's first caution waved for Chamberlain on lap two as he slowed with mechanical issues, allowing Linville to inherit the lead and moving K-Rob to second. The top two would duke it out for the top spot over the next 20 laps before Linville pulled away with ten to go. Robinson settled in second followed by Frank Heckenast Jr., Justin Rattliff, and Michael Chilton.

1June 13th, 2014 - Kent Robinson returned to the seat of his #85 Jones Oil Open Wheel Modified on Friday night at Bloomington Speedway (Bloomington, Indiana).

Twenty-five entries registered for battle, and Kent started his outing with a charge from seventh to second in heat race action. As a result he would start on the pole of the main event with Derek Groomer alongside.

When the race went green Groomer took the lead on the opening lap with Robinson in tow. Groomer began to stretch his advantage until lap eight when mechanical issues forced him pit side, relinquishing to top spot to Robinson. With Robinson now out front, tenth starting Devin Gilpin had moved into second and began to apply pressure on Robinson by lap fourteen. After several failed attempts by Gilpin to assume the point, he finally completed the pass with just seven laps remaining. Gilpin went on to claim the victory as Robinson settled in second. Roy Bruce Jr., Greg Amick, and Matt Boknecht rounded out the top five finishers.

1June 7th, 2014 - Kent Robinson Racing opened the festivities for the 20th Annual Dirt Late Model Dream 100 on Thursday evening at Eldora Speedway (Rossburg, Ohio) with a $2,500-to-win event.

Kent qualified eighth overall among the 78 entries on hand, as the invert would result in him starting third in his heat race. Robinson charged to the win in heat race action, which positioned him starting on the pole for the 25 lap feature with Jonathan Davenport alongside. K-Rob launched to the lead on the opening lap and went virtually unchallenged throughout the entire race. Fourth starting Scott Bloomquist made his way into second and closed in on Robinson before the midway point, but Robinson began stretching his lead in lap traffic. Motoring through lap traffic to avoid any late race challenges from Bloomquist, K-Rob held a half-straightaway lead when the checkered flag waved. Bloomquist settled in second followed by Chris Simpson, Rick Eckert, and Duane Chamberlain rounding out the top five finishers.

Friday night found the winner's purse increased to $5,000 as dual features were once again contested. Struggles in qualifying left Kent starting eighth in his heat race, where he charged from the back of the pack to a second place finish. As a result he earned the seventh starting spot on the grid for the 25 lap feature. During the course of the main event Robinson advanced to a fifth place finish behind race winner, Brian Birkhofer, Rick Eckert, Billy Moyer, and Shannon Babb.

On Saturday struggles in heat race action forced Robinson to use a provisional to earn a starting spot in the coveted $100,000-to-win Dirt Late Model Dream. Kent made some progress early on in the 100 lap affair at the famed 1/2 mile oval before ultimately retiring to a sixteenth place finish in the final rundown.
