1May 31st, 2014 - Kent Robinson and the #85 Jones Oil Open Wheel Modified team made a last minute decision to enter a Weekly Racing Series program at Bloomington Speedway (Bloomington, Indiana) on Friday night. With eighteen entries on hand for the program Kent started his night by finish second in heat race action to earn the sixth starting spot for the finale. As the race went green Robinson quickly moved into the top five, and would advance to a second place finish behind race winner, Devin Gilpin during the course of the event. 1Saturday night found the team pitted at Florence Speedway (Union, Kentucky) for the 28th Annual Ralph Latham Memorial. A talented field of thirty-six competitors entered the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) sanctioned program. Kent finished second in his heat race to lock into the fifth starting spot for the $10,000-to-win finale. The Bloomington, Indiana driver better known as K-Rob battled amongst the top five for much of the event before recording a sixth place finish at the checkered flag. 1May 25th, 2014 - Sunday evening found the team pitted at the famed Eldora Speedway (Rossburg, Ohio) for the American Late Model Series (ALMS) sanctioned Johnny Appleseed Classic. Robinson earned the fourth starting spot for his heat race via qualifying efforts and charged to the win, earning him the third starting position on the grid for the finale. During the course of the 25 lap feature K-Rob battled at the front of the pack before crossing the finish line in third behind race winner, Matt Miller and Jeep Vanwormer. 1The weekend drew to a close on Monday evening as Kent returned to the seat of the #85 Jones Oil/Bandit Race Car Open Wheel Modified at Lawrenceburg Speedway (Lawrenceburg, Indiana). Twenty-eight UMP Open Wheel Modifieds entered the event and by way of a heat race win, Robinson locked into the fourth starting spot for the 20 lap feature. 1May 23rd, 2014 - After a weekend away from the track, Kent Robinson returned to the seat of the #85 Jones Oil/Bandit Race Car Open Wheel Modified on Friday night at Bloomington Speedway (Bloomington, Indiana).

Twenty competitors entered the event, and Robinson started his night by winning the second heat race to earn the outside pole position for the feature with Devin Gilpin alongside. K-Rob assumed the point at the drop of the green flag, and fought off a hard charging Gilpin for the victory. Gilpin settled in second followed by Derek Groomer, Jake Humphrey, and Jesse Cramer rounding out the top five finishers.

1May 3rd, 2014 - Action opened on Friday night for Kent Robinson at Bloomington Speedway (Bloomington, Indiana) with a Weekly Racing Series event at the 1/4 mile oval. Robinson piloted the #85 Jones Oil/Bandit Race Car from his seventh starting spot to the win in his heat race to lock into the second starting spot for the finale. 1Kent made his way to Florence Speedway (Union, Kentucky) on Saturday evening. With a $2,000 top prize on the line in the Super Late Model division a field of seventeen entries filed into the pit area to do battle. Robinson started his night by winning his heat race, and in the main event battled for the lead before crossing the finish line in the second spot behind race winner, Duane Chamberlain.
