March 30th, 2013 - Kent Robinson entered a single event over the Easter weekend as he traveled to Florence Speedway (Union, Kentucky) on Saturday night for the annual Spring 50. Twenty-seven Super Late Models entered the $5,000-to-win program at the 1/2 mile oval, and Robinson started his night by qualifying fifth fastest. With the top four cars inverted in each heat race he started in the third position in the second heat, and with passing being difficult he would only be able to manage a fourth place finish, which locked him into the eleventh starting spot for the 50 lap finale.

In the main event Robinson raced his way into the top ten early in the feature and would go on to cross the finish line in tenth. Full results are available at

1March 23rd, 2013 - Kent pulled double duty at Brownstown Speedway (Brownstown, Indiana) on Saturday night during the 16th Annual Indiana Ice Breaker as he competed in both the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) and UMP Open Wheel Modified divisions.

In the LOLMDS portion of the show luck would not be on his side as struggles in time trials left him starting deep in a heat race grid, and while he passed a few cars he failed to transfer to the feature. In the b-main he advanced to a fifth place finish, but with only the top three finishers transferring to the $10,000-to-win, 50 lap finale, his night ended early.

Robinson would enjoy better luck in the Open Wheel Modified division as he piloted the #85 Jones Oil Company entry. With thirty-seven entries in the pit area Kent raced from the second starting spot in the second heat race to claim the win, which locked him into the main event in the second starting spot alongside pole sitter, Ryan Thomas. Robinson battled at the front of the pack for the duration of the event before registering a third place finish behind race winner, Gilpin, and Thomas.

March 16th, 2013 - After seeing the season opener on Saturday night at Florence Speedway (Union, Kentucky) postponed until March 30th the team headed to Brownstown Speedway (Brownstown, Indiana) for the season opener at the 1/4 mile oval. Twenty-four Super Late Models registered for battle, and after winning the first heat race from the second starting spot Kent locked into the pole position for the 25 lap feature with Shelby Miles joining him on the front row. At the drop of the green flag Robinson jumped to the lead and paced the first four circuits before Joe Janowski took over the top spot. Kent pursued Janowski until lap 19, when he retook the lead and would pace the next two circuits before Janowski reclaimed the lead and raced to the victory with Robinson a close second. Tim Rivers, Jason Jameson, and Shelby Miles rounded out the top five. Full results are available at
