October 26th, 2013 - Kent Robinson Racing brought their 2013 season to an official end on Saturday night in the Fall 50 at Florence Speedway (Union, Kentucky) as Robinson pulled double duty between the Super Late Model and Open Wheel Modified ranks. Unfortunately it would prove to ultimately be a nightmare outing in both divisions.

Super Late Model competition found a $5,000 top prize on the line at the 1/2 mile oval as 26 entries registered for competition. Kent earned the 4th starting spot for the feature on a very fast and rugged surface. He would quickly find his way to the lead in 50 lap finale, and appeared to be on his way to the victory for the second-straight year before a broken axle coming to the white flag ended his night.

Robinson's disappointment on Saturday evening wasn't limited to the Super Late Model ranks as he also competed in the Open Wheel Modified division. With 62 entries on hand to try and claim the $5,000 winner's check Kent started his night by experiencing a broken brake line in qualifying, which ultimately relegated him to a b-main. After transferring from the b-main to the feature in the 20th starting spot, Robinson encountered a broken, ball joint on the opening lap which ended his night.

The heartbreaking outings concluded Kent's 2013 campaign. He would like to thank all of his great sponsors and fans for their support as he now looks ahead to 2014.

Friday night's program was highlighted by a $10,000-to-win race, which drew a field of 51 entries to the 1/2 mile oval, and via time trials Kent started 2nd in his heat race before racing to a 2nd place finish, which locked him into the finale in the 9th starting spot. In the 50 lap feature Robinson raced to a 6th place finish behind race winner, Jason Feger, Josh Richards, Dale McDowell, Billy Moyer, and Eddie Carrier Jr.

Saturday's big finale was headlined by a $25,000-to-win feature, and Kent Robinson enjoyed another great run in the 100 lap finale. Via preliminary action Kent earned the 16th starting spot for the $25,000-to-win, Pittsburgher 100. As the feature went green he began working his way forward through the pack, and quickly found his way into the top ten. As the race approached its latter stages Robinson took advantage of a restart to rocket into the 3rd position. He briefly pressured Billy Moyer for the 2nd spot before settling into a 3rd place finish behind race winner, Scott Bloomquist, Moyer.

1October 5th, 2013 - The opening round of the UMP Fall Nationals was held at Eldora Speedway (Rossburg, Ohio) on Thursday night as Robinson went into battle against a field of 116 entries in the UMP Open Wheel Modified division. Via preliminary action the field was divided into four, $1,000-to-win features, and Robinson would race his way to a 3rd place finish in his main event behind race winner, Brian Ruhlman, and Matt Westfall.

Friday night was a great outing for Kent as he stormed to his 6th win of the 2013 season! With 119 UMP Open Wheel Modified entries in the pits Kent qualified 8th fastest before winning his heat race to lock into the 3rd starting spot for the $1,000-to-win feature. In the main event he wasted little time working his way to the lead as he took over the top spot on the opening lap and never looked back on his way to the victory, which came over Jim Farris Sr., Jacob Poel, Kenny Wallace, and Joel Watson.

On Saturday evening Kent was slated to compete in both the UMP Open Wheel Modified and UMP Super Late Model divisions in the UMP Fall Nationals finale, but Mother Nature washed the program away.
