1September 28th, 2013 - The team traveled to Knoxville Raceway (Knoxville, Iowa) over the weekend for the 10th Annual Lucas Oil Knoxville Late Model Nationals, which drew a field of 72 entries to the 1/2 mile oval.

On Thursday evening festivities opened with a $7,000-to-win, preliminary event, and Kent earned the pole position for his heat race via qualifications. Robinson led much of his heat race before the setup on his car began to fade late in the race, and he slipped to a 4th place finish. With only the top three finishers transferring to the feature, he was relegated to the B-Main. In the consolation event he failed to reach a transfer spot to the feature as his night came to an early end.

Friday night would find the team participating in another $7,000-to-win, preliminary event at the mega-race. Kent's night started on a strong note as he qualified 3rd fastest in his group, and with an invert of eight in effect for heat race action he started 8th in his heat race. Unfortunately from there his luck would go south as he experienced a mechanical failure in his heat race, which relegated him to the D-main. In the D-main he did some testing for Saturday night's finale as his night came to an early end once again.

Kent's nightmare weekend at Knoxville continued on Saturday night, when he was running in a transfer spot in the C-main only to have a mechanical failure again strike as his weekend came to an end.

Action opened on Thursday night as 112 entries looked to take a stab at a program that saw the field divided into a pair of $5,000-to-win finales. Qualifications resulted in Kent starting 6th in his heat race before rocketing through the field to score the win, which locked him into the 5th starting spot for the 25 lap, preliminary feature. Friday evening's program was again highlighted by a pair of $5,000-to-win events, and Kent earned the 23rd starting spot for his feature after finishing 2nd in a b-main. He would go on to finish 19th in the final rundown.

The finale for the crown jewel was held on Saturday evening as heat race line-ups were determined from a driver's best performance in qualifying on the two previous nights. As a result Kent found himself starting deep in his heat race in the 16th position. He would mount a great charge in his heat to a 6th place finish, which left him short of locking into the feature, but did send him to a b-main. In the b-main Robinson raced his way to a 5th place finish, which locked him into the 29th starting spot in the 32 car field for the $46,000-to-win finale. After not making up much ground in the race's early laps he would ultimately retire to a 29th place finish.
