1June 25th, 2017 - Behind the wheel of the Billy Moyer Victory Race Car #7r Super Late Model, Kent Robinson traveled to Florence Speedway (Union, Kentucky) on Saturday night for the Schaeffer Oil Southern Nationals Bonus Series sanctioned event. Sending the Top 4 out of the heats, Kent landed a 3rd place finish locking him into the 9th-starting positon for the feature. With $10,000 on the line, Robinson slipped back to a 21st place outing in the 50-lapper.

1On Sunday Kent rejoined the UMP DIRTcar Summer Nationals Hell Tour for the $5,000 top prize at Tri-State Speedway (Haubstadt, Indiana). After falling two spots shy of transfer position in his heat race with a 7th place finish, Robinson charged to a 12-lap consolation win positioning him 16th on the starting grid for the feature. Losing three spots in the 40-lap affair, Kent Robinson logged a 19th place finish.

1June 17th, 2017 - On Wednesday Kent Robinson was one of 32 Super Late Models signed in at Brownstown Speedway (Brownstown, Indiana) for the opening night of the 32nd annual UMP DIRTcar Summernationals Hell Tour. After timing in fifth fastest in his group in qualifying, Robinson grabbed the 5th and final transfer spot in his heat race locking him into the 15th-starting position for the feature. 1Saturday night brought Robinson to Florence Speedway (Union, Kentucky) for the KOI & Federated Auto Parts Night. Following a heat race win early in the night, Kent charged to his second win of the season in the 30-lap feature topping Nick Latham, Trevor Landrum, Scott James, and Jeff Wilson at the line. 1Wrapping up the weekend on Sunday, Robinson returned with the Summer Nationals Hell Tour for the $5,000-to-win A-Main at Daugherty Speedway (Boswell, Indiana). Getting a hole in his radiator on the very first lap of his heat race, Kent decided to withdraw from the rest of the night’s events after experiencing very rough track conditions in his heat.

1June 10th, 2017 - Kent Robinson kicked off the 23rd annual Dirt Late Model Dream at Eldora Speedway (Rossburg, Ohio) on Thursday night for two rounds of preliminary features. In a stout field of 79 Super Late Models, Robinson secured his spot into the UMP DIRTcar sanctioned A-Main with a 2nd place finish behind Scott Bloomquist in his heat. 1Returning on Friday night for another round of preliminary features, Kent landed a 3rd place finish in his heat race positioning him 9th on the starting grid for the final $10,000-to-win preliminary feature. Slipping out of the Top 10, Robinson dropped back to a 21st place outing.

1On Saturday rolling off on the front row of his heat, Robinson started the night off with a heat race victory locking him into the 2nd-starting spot for the $100,000-to-win Dirt Late Model Dream. Taking the lead on the opening lap, Kent held off the field for the first 11 circuits. Battling to stay in the Top 10 as the race went on, Kent Robinson slipped back to a 17th place finish when the checkered flag flew.
