1August 25, 2018 - Friday evening saw Kent Robinson in action at Mansfield Motor Speedway (Mansfield, Ohio) for the inaugural Dirt Million. With a stout field of 77 Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) entries on hand for a pair of preliminary features, Robinson held his spot in his 8-lap heat race to place 6th. Needing a 2nd place finish or better in his B-Main to make the $10,000-to-win show, Kent grabbed the 2nd and final transfer spot behind Kyle Bronson. 1Returning on Saturday night, Kent fell short of a transfer spot in his heat with a 4th place finish. Transferring into the B-Main for one final shot at the $202,940-to-win finale, Robinson came up short of a transfer position with a 7th place finish.

1August 11, 2018 - Kent Robinson returned with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) on Wednesday night at Florence Speedway (Union, Kentucky) for the rescheduled Ralph Latham Memorial from May. In a stout field of 54 Super Late Models, Kent suffered a broken fan in his heat race that prevented him from finishing. Slated to start near the tail of his B-Main, Robinson scratched from the consolation event to prepare for the rest of the weekend.

On Thursday evening for the North-South Shootout, Kent edged his way into the $10,000-to-win A-Main with the 3rd and final transfer spot in his heat. Starting in 14th, Robinson dropped one spot in the 50-lapper logging a 15th place outing.

Starting the $50,000-to-win Suncoo North-South 100 in 8th on Saturday night, Robinson dropped five spots in the 100-lap affair to place 13th.

1August 4, 2018 - On Friday night Kent Robinson made the short trip to Bloomington Speedway (Bloomington, Indiana) making his first career start in the Super Late Model ranks for the MARS Racing Series sanctioned event. Drawing 22 cars for the Hoosier State Hall of Fame Weekend, Kent locked his spot into the A-Main with a heat race victory.  Swapping back in forth for the lead with Tanner English in the final 10 circuits, Robinson overtook English for good on lap 38 en route to his second win of the season and a $3,000 payday. 1The following night brought Robinson to Brownstown Speedway (Brownstown, Indiana) competing in a field of 27 MARS Racing Series entries for the Hall of Fame Classic. Coming in 2nd in his heat behind Tanner English, Kent earned the 6th-starting position for the $10,000-to-win finale. Working his way into a podium spot, Kent Robinson gained three spots to place 3rd behind Billy Moyer Jr. and Tanner English with Michael Kloos and Michael Chilton completing the Top-5 finishers.
