1July 21, 2018 - Thursday night found Kent Robinson in action at I-80 Speedway (Greenwood, Nebraska) for the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) sanctioned Malvern Bank Go 50. With 43 cars registered in for action, Robinson held his spot in his 10-lap heat to place 6th. Needing a 3rd place finish or better in his B-Main to make the opening night feature, Kent slipped back to an 8th place outing.

1Returning on Friday evening for two rounds of heat races, Robinson gained five spots in his first heat recording a 4th place finish. Rolling off on the pole of his second heat, Kent cruised to an 11-lap heat race win locking his spot into the Silver Dollar Nationals A-Main on Saturday night. 1July 14, 2018 - Wrapping up the DIRTcar Summer Nationals Hell Tour, Kent Robinson made the trek to Oakshade Raceway (Wauseon, Ohio) on Friday night for the two-day Birthday Race Weekend. In a stout field of 43 Super Late Models, Kent grabbed the 4th and final transfer spot in his heat race locking him into the 14th-starting position for the opening night feature. With $5,000 on the lien, Kent slipped back to a 21st place outing.

1The following night for the $10,000 top prize, Kent followed up the fastest time overall in qualifying with a heat race victory. 1July 7, 2018 - On Friday evening Kent Robinson was one of 30 DIRTcar Summer Nationals Hell Tour entries signed in at Farmer City Raceway (Farmer City, Illinois) for the 16th round of the tour. After laying down the second fastest time in his qualifying group, Kent landed a 2nd place finish in his heat behind Shannon Babb locking him into the 6th-starting position for the $10,000-to-win A-Main. Breaking into the Top-5, Kent gained two spots to place 4th behind Billy Moyer, Brian Shirley, and Jason Feger with Tim Manville coming in 5th.

1Saturday night brought Robinson to Brownstown Speedway (Brownstown, Indiana) for the Mars Racing Series sanctioned Born Free 40. In a field of 27 Super Late Models, Robinson secured his spot into the A-Main with a heat race victory. Rolling off 3rd, Kent blasted into the lead on an early restart on the high side and paced the field in the remaining 37 circuits to pick up his first win of the season and a $5,000 payday.
