1September 12, 2020 - After promoters and race officials were forced to postpone the 50th annual World 100 to 2021, Kent Robinson was one of 48 Late Models invited to Eldora Speedway (Rossburg, Ohio) on Thursday evening to take part in the Intercontinental Classic. Following the 11th fastest time overall in qualifying, Robinson slipped back to an eighth place outing in his heat, sending him into the B-Main for another shot at the opening night feature. Locking in the Top 3, Kent passed two cars but failed to transfer with a fifth place finish.

With preliminary results from Thursday and Friday setting the grid for the heat races on Saturday, Robinson rolled off seventh for another shot at the $50,000-to-win Intercontinental Classic. Dropping one spot to finish eighth, Kent had one last shot at the main event with a B-Main apperance. Marching through the field to pick up the 15-lap victory, Kent earned the 20th-starting position for the main event. Running into trouble near the late-stages of the 67-lapper, Robinson was one of several cars that experienced terminal motor troubles.

1September 5, 2020 - Competing in his lone event over the Labor Day weekend, Kent Robinson traveled to Fairbury Speedway (Fairbury, Ill.) on Saturday night for the MARS Racing Series-sanctioned FALS Supernationals. In a field of 34 cars, Robinson followed up the third fastest time in his qualifying group with the fourth and final transfer spot in his heat race.
