Top-10 finish with Castrol FNiA at Brownstown

Kent Robinson made the short trip to Brownstown Speedway (Brownstown, Ind.) on Wednesday afternoon for the Castrol FloRacing Night in America event. With a third-place finish in his heat race pinning him 11th on the starting grid for the $10,000-to-win A-Main, Kent gained two spots in the 40-lap affair to register a ninth-place finish. 1On Friday evening, Robinson hopped behind the wheel of Brent Lee’s No. 148 Modified at Bloomington Speedway (Bloomington, Ind.) for the Harris Memorial. After mechanical issues sidelined him from his heat, Kent came from the tail of the field in his B-Main to pick up the win. Starting the feature in 19th, Robinson gained seven spots to finish 12th.

1Back behind the wheel of his Late Model on Saturday, Kent traveled to Eldora Speedway (Rossburg, Ohio) for the Late Model Lidlifter. With 22 Sunoco American Late Model Series entries entered, Robinson edged his way into the feature with a fifth-place finish in his heat. With $5,000 on the line, Kent dropped four spots to come in 17th.
