1May 12th, 2012 - After originally planned to travel to La Salle Speedway (La Salle, Illinois) on Saturday night for a Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) event, the team changed their plans due to an unfavorable weather forecast and headed to Florence Speedway (Union, Kentucky) for a $2,000-to-win, unsanctioned event on the 1/2 mile oval. The night started well for Robinson, who won the first heat race to earn a front row starting spot for the 35 lap feature. As the race went green he would assume the second position and would hold down that spot for the duration of the event before finishing second to race winner, Scott James. 1May 5th, 2012 - The World of Outlaws (WoO) Super Late Model tour rolled into North Carolina and Georgia over the weekend for a pair of $10,000-to-win events at tracks that Kent had never even seen before. On Friday night thirty-three entries were in action at 311 Motor Speedway (Pine Hall, North Carolina), and after failing to qualify for the main event via heat race and b-main action, Robinson used a series' provisional to start the feature in the 24th position. Despite starting at the tail of the field he marched forward twelve spots on his way to a 12th place finish.

On Saturday evening the action shifted to Swainsboro Raceway (Swainsboro, Georgia) as twenty-nine entries registered for battle. After struggling in time trials, Kent failed to lock into the feature via his heat race, but a second place finish in his b-main locked him into the 21st starting spot for the 50 lap, feature event. During the course of the race he advanced seven spots to a 14th place finish.

Kent is currently 12th in the latest WoO standings. Full results from the weekend and the latest tour standings can be found at www.WoOLMS.com.

1April 28th, 2012 - Kent returned to action with the World of Outlaws (WoO) Super Late Model tour over the weekend with a pair of events in Alabama and Tennessee. On Friday night Robinson entered his first ever event at North Alabama Speedway (Tuscumbia, Alabama) as 35 cars registered for action. Time trials found Robinson registering the seventh fastest time, which resulted in him starting second in the third heat race. He would storm to the heat race win, which locked him into the redraw for the 50 lap, $10,000-to-win feature. In the redraw he was the recipient of the sixth starting spot. Throughout the feature he would battle in the top ten before crossing the finish line in the sixth position behind race winner, Brad Neat, Rick Eckert, Chub Frank, Vic Coffey, and Tim Fuller. Robinson was also the highest finishing WoO rookie.

On Saturday night Robinson experienced another first as he entered his first ever event at Tazewell Speedway (Tazewell, Tennessee). The $10,000-to-win, WoO event saw thirty-two cars register for action, and in heat race action Robinson missed the transfer to the feature by two spots. As a result he was relegated to a b-main, where he finished second to lock into nineteenth starting spot for the feature. With rubbered-up conditions present for the feature, Kent would fail to pass any cars on his way to a twentieth place finish. He is now thirteenth in the latest WoO standings. Despite starting deep in the field, he passed eleven cars on his way to a third place finish to lock into the 20th starting spot for the 50 lap feature. The $5,000-to-win event drew a field of 36 Super Late Models, and in time trials, Robinson would record the 16th fastest time. With an invert in effect, he would start on the pole of his heat race but would slip to a seventh place finish, which relegated him to a b-main. In the b-main, Robinson would battle mechanical issues, which caused him to fall short of a transfer to the feature, bringing his night to an early end. September 2nd, 2011 - Welcome to the launch of the newly designed website for Super Late Model racer, Kent Robinson from Bloomington, Indiana at www.KentRobinsonRacing.com. He pilots the #7r JB's Salvage/Mastersbilt/Jay Dickens Racing Engine Super Late Model at events across the country. The 2011 season marks his first full year of Super Late Model competition after a successful stretch in the Open Wheel Modified division.

Last weekend, August 26th-27th, Kent entered a pair of Lucas Oil late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) events in Indiana and Kentucky. On Friday night, the action got underway at Lawrenceburg Speedway (Lawrenceburg, Indiana) with a $10,000-to-win event. Thirty one cars entered the event, and after finishing fourth in his heat race, Robinson would lock into the 15th starting spot for the 50 lap feature, which was being taped by the Speed TV cameras for a future broadcast. Early in the feature, Robinson would be involved in a multi-car wreck. He would continue for a few more laps, but would eventually retire from the race with an ill-handling car, while running in the 14th position. Robinson was credited with a 17th place finish in the final rundown.

Saturday night found the team at Bluegrass Speedway (Bardstown, Kentucky) for another $10,000-to-win, LOLMDS event. Thirty-two cars entered the program, and the night got off to a bad start with a broken fan in hot laps, which caused Kent to miss his qualifying spot. As a result, he would get one lap of qualifying on the tail, and would manage to lay down the fifth fastest lap in his group. However, due to LOLMDS tour rules the highest he could start was fifth in his heat since he missed his spot in the qualifying order. On a track, where passing was difficult he would be unable to advance any spots in his heat, and was relegated to a b-main. In the b-main, Robinson was driving away from the field in the lead, when disaster struck in the form of a motor failure, which brought his night to a disappointing early end.
