Thirty-seven Super Late Models entered the event, and Kent started his night by winning his heat race to lock into the fifth starting spot for the $5,000-to-win, 50 lap finale. The feature would prove to be a solid outing for Robinson as he advanced from his fifth starting spot to record a third place finish behind race winner, Scott James, and Josh McGuire. October 15th, 2011 - Kent made his first venture into a U.S. Steel Dirt Track World Championship in the Super Late Model division over the weekend as he took part in the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) sanctioned event. Ninety cars registered for what would prove to be a long and frustrating weekend. After seeing Friday night's program nixed by rain, the event was consolidated into a one day show on Saturday. With festivities beginning at 4pm under sunny and windy conditions, the track would quickly deteriorate to make passing difficult. Via qualifications Kent started fifth in his heat race, and that's where he would finish as well. With only the top three cars moving on to the feature he was forced to run a b-main, where he started fourth. Once again passing would be a challenge, and he would finish fifth in the b-main. With only the top two cars transferring he didn't qualify for the feature, but was eligible for the $3,000-to-win, Jim Dunn Memorial Non-Qualifier's event. He started near mid-pack in the race before retiring to the infield to save his equipment. Full results are available at www.LucasDirt.com.

October 8th, 2011 - Kent traveled to Eldora Speedway (Rossburg, Ohio) over the weekend for the annual Fall Nationals. With 50 Super Late Models entered, Kent started fourth in his heat race before advancing to a second place finish to lock into the eighth starting spot for the 40 lap, $5,000-to-win feature. He would battle in the top ten for the duration of the feature before ultimately crossing the finish line in the 7th position. Full results are available at www.EldoraSpeedway.com.

October 1st, 2011 - Saturday night saw the finale for the 8th Annual Lucas Oil Knoxville Late Model Nationals at Knoxville Raceway, and vis his performances in his qualifying nights, Kent would start third in the b-main with the top six cars moving on to the feature. Early in the b-main he would advance to as high as the fourth position, but unfortunately for the second straight night he would lose a few spots late in the b-main, which caused him to miss the $40,000-to-win feature by a single spot. Despite not having the runs that they had hoped, the team was still very encouraged by their performances and gained a lot of knowledge in Kent's first ever trip to the facility. Full results are available at www.LucasDirt.com.

September 30th, 2011 - Friday night saw the second leg of the 8th Annual Lucas Oil Knoxville Late Model Nationals held at Knoxville Raceway (Knoxville, Iowa). With 62 entries on hand, the night would start well for Robinson as he registered the 12th fastest time. With the 50 top cars once again being registered for heat race action, he was forced to start 8th in his heat on a surface that was extremely fast and made passing difficult. As a result he would be unable to make up any ground and was forced to a b-main, where he started third on the grid. With the top four cars transferring to the feature Robinson would run in a transfer spot for much of the event before getting shuffled backward in the event, which caused him to miss the main event. Full results are available at www.LucasDirt.com.

September 29th, 2011 - Kent made his first ever trip to Knoxville Raceway on Thursday night for the opener of the 8th Annual Lucas Oil Knoxville Nationals at the famed, 1/2 mile oval. Sixty-four of the nation's best Super Late Model drivers entered the event, and in time trials Kent qualified 23rd fastest. With the top 50 cars inverted for heat race action he started fifth in his heat. With the top four cars transferring to the feature he slipped to a sixth place finish, which sent him to the b-main event. In the b-main, he would start 8th and would advance to challenge for the final transfer spot before falling just short of the mark as he finished in the fifth spot, one spot out of the transfer, which brought his night to an early end. Full results are available at www.DirtOnDirt.com.

September 25th, 2011 - Due to an unfavorable forecast for the Prairie Dirt Classic at Fairbury American Legion Speedway (Fairbury, Illinois) the team has decided to not make the trip, and as a result will not race anywhere on Sunday evening.

September 24th, 2011 - Kent entered the 32nd Annual Jackson 100 over the weekend at Brownstown Speedway (Brownstown, Indiana) as 39 cars entered the $20,000-to-win, Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) event at the historic, 1/4 mile oval. On Friday night, time trials were held, and Kent was fifth fastest in his group in time trials to earn the fifth starting spot for the first heat race.

With heat race action being held on Saturday wet and dreary conditions greeted the competitors, resulting in a heavy and rough track. In his heat Kent would record a fourth place finish to earn the thirteenth starting spot for the 100 lap finale. Early in the feature Kent would race around mid-pack before a mechanical failure forced him pitside, bringing his night to an early end in the 21st position. Full weekend results are available at www.LucasDirt.com.

Kent and everyone with the team would also like to send a special thanks to Huey's BBQ,based in Bedford, Indiana for coming on board as a sponsor for the Jackson 100. The company does catering, festivals, etc, and they provided the team with an EXCELLENT meal at the track! Fans and racers in the area should check out Huey's BBQ whenever possible.

September 18th, 2011 - For the second time this season the Prairie Dirt Classic at Fairbury American Legion Speedway (Fairbury, Illinois) has been delayed by rain and will now be held on Sunday, September 25th.

September 17th, 2011 - Saturday night was a huge night in the young career of Kent Robinson as he claimed his first ever Super Late Model win in the 7th Annual Hall of Fame Classic at Brownstown Speedway (Brownstown, Indiana). Twenty-eight cars entered the event, and Kent started the night by winning his heat race to earn the outside front row starting spot alongside pole-sitter, Tanner English. As the race went green, Robinson would quickly work his way to the lead, and once there he would never look back on his way to his first career, Super Late Model triumph, which was worth $2,000. The win came over Joe Janowski, Tanner English, Greg Johnson, and Mike Jewell. Full results are available at www.BrownstownSpeedway.com.

September 10th, 2011 - History was made over the weekend as the team entered the 41st Annual World 100 at Eldora Speedway (Rossburg, Ohio) for the first time ever. 112 of the nation's best drivers converged on the 1/2 mile oval for the $44,000-to-win event. Friday night's time trials would see Robinson record the 43rd fastest time to earn the eighth starting spot for the first heat race on Saturday night.

On Saturday night a wicked fast track would greet the competitors, and Kent would advance to a sixth place finish to earn the seventh starting spot for a b-main. In the b-main he would battle his way to a fifth place finish before seeing fourth place finisher Clint Smith disqualified for being light. As a result, Robinson inherited a fourth place finish and transferred to the 27th starting spot for the 100 lap feature. After making the feature, Robinson would retire early in the race with a vibration in the car. He was credited with a 30th place finish. Although it wasn't the finish he would've liked to record, Kent and the entire team were extremely excited to just make the feature. Full results are available at www.DirtOnDirt.com.

September 4th, 2011 - With a threatening weather forecast in place for Sunday night's event at Eldora Speedway (Rossburg, Ohio), the team decided to remain in Illinois to enter the $5,000-to-win event at Farmer City Raceway (Farmer City, Illinois).

Thirty-five cars were on hand for the UMP-sanctioned event, Robinson qualified ninth fastest in his group to earn the fifth starting spot for heat race action. In his heat he advanced to a third place finish to lock into the eleventh starting spot for the main event. Despite starting around midpack, he would quickly see his night come to an end with mechanical issues. He was credited with a 20th place finish. Full results are available at www.DirtOnDirt.com.

September 3rd, 2011 - Despite the best efforts of track staff, rain was the winner in the $10,000-to-win, Prairie Dirt Classic at Fairbury American Legion Speedway (Fairbury, Illinois). The race has been rescheduled for Sunday, September 18th.

September 2nd, 2011 - The team made the trek to Fairbury American Legion Speedway (Fairbury, Illinois) on Friday night for the $5,000-to-win, Prairie Dirt Shootout. The $5,000-to-win event drew a field of 36 Super Late Models, and in time trials, Robinson would record the 16th fastest time. With an invert in effect, he would start on the pole of his heat race but would slip to a seventh place finish, which relegated him to a b-main. In the b-main, Robinson would battle mechanical issues, which caused him to fall short of a transfer to the feature, bringing his night to an early end. Full results are available at www.FairburySpeedway.com.

September 2nd, 2011 - Welcome to the launch of the newly designed website for Super Late Model racer, Kent Robinson from Bloomington, Indiana at www.KentRobinsonRacing.com. He pilots the #7r JB's Salvage/Mastersbilt/Jay Dickens Racing Engine Super Late Model at events across the country. The 2011 season marks his first full year of Super Late Model competition after a successful stretch in the Open Wheel Modified division.

Last weekend, August 26th-27th, Kent entered a pair of Lucas Oil late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) events in Indiana and Kentucky. On Friday night, the action got underway at Lawrenceburg Speedway (Lawrenceburg, Indiana) with a $10,000-to-win event. Thirty one cars entered the event, and after finishing fourth in his heat race, Robinson would lock into the 15th starting spot for the 50 lap feature, which was being taped by the Speed TV cameras for a future broadcast. Early in the feature, Robinson would be involved in a multi-car wreck. He would continue for a few more laps, but would eventually retire from the race with an ill-handling car, while running in the 14th position. Robinson was credited with a 17th place finish in the final rundown.

Saturday night found the team at Bluegrass Speedway (Bardstown, Kentucky) for another $10,000-to-win, LOLMDS event. Thirty-two cars entered the program, and the night got off to a bad start with a broken fan in hot laps, which caused Kent to miss his qualifying spot. As a result, he would get one lap of qualifying on the tail, and would manage to lay down the fifth fastest lap in his group. However, due to LOLMDS tour rules the highest he could start was fifth in his heat since he missed his spot in the qualifying order. On a track, where passing was difficult he would be unable to advance any spots in his heat, and was relegated to a b-main. In the b-main, Robinson was driving away from the field in the lead, when disaster struck in the form of a motor failure, which brought his night to a disappointing early end.
