December 20th, 2017 - The 2017 season saw Kent Robinson compete in a total of 49 events while visiting victory lane five times. With the weather determining the outcome of five of his scheduled dates, Robinson collected 19 Top-10 outings and 14 Top-5 finishes.

1December 16th, 2017 - Competing in his final event of the 2017 season, Kent Robinson traveled to The Dome at America’s Center (St. Louis, Missouri) on Thursday night for the second annual VP Racing Fuels Gateway Dirt Nationals. Drawing 94 Super Late Models for the a round of qualifying on Thursday, Robinson timed in 19th fastest in his group locking him into the 5th-starting spot for his heat race on Friday.

1Moving up three spots, Kent landed a 2nd place finish behind Chad Zobrist positioning him 7th on the starting grid for the $5,000-to-win preliminary feature. Returning on Saturday afternoon starting on the pole of his B-Main, Kent cruised to a 12-lap consolation victory earning him 10th-starting position for the $30,000-to-win finale. Running into trouble early, Robinson suffered a flat left-rear tire that retired him early from the 40-lapper. He was credited with a 21st place outing.

1November 11th, 2017 - On Saturday night Kent Robinson headed to Lake Cumberland Speedway (Burnside, Kentucky) for the Schaeffer Oil Iron-Man Series sanctioned event. With 34 Super Late Models signed in for the Finn Watson Memorial, Robinson started the night off with a heat race victory earning him the pole position for the $5,000-to-win A-Main. After leading the first 14-laps, Kent made contact with a lap car while navigating through traffic that dropped him back to a 16th place outing.

1October 8th, 2017 - Kent Robinson added another prestigious accolade to his accomplishment list over the weekend.

“This is truly something special to win this championship,” Robinson proclaimed. “To win a Super Late Model championship at a place that is so prestigious and has so much history means a lot to our team. At the beginning of the year, we circled this as a goal, and to see it come to fruition is very fulfilling. I just want to thank my family, my team, my sponsors, and all of my fans for their awesome support."

K-Rob traveled to the famed Eldora Speedway (Rossburg, Ohio) on Saturday to take part in the annual Allstar Performance DIRTcar Fall Nationals, which was sanctioned by the Sunoco Race Fuels American Late Model Series (ALMS). While the event was slated to only be a one-day affair, Mother Nature had other ideas.

Kent started the event by registering the fastest time of the 23 entries in qualifying on Saturday evening, and then backed it up with a heat-race win from the fourth-starting position. His preliminary performance positioned Robinson third on the starting grid for the 40-lap $5,000-to-win finale.

Early in the feature he worked his way up to the second position, but on lap 16 rain would begin to drench the ½-mile oval, forcing the final 24 laps to be postponed until Sunday afternoon.

When the race resumed Robinson challenged Van Wormer for the lead near the race’s midway point before ultimately slipping back to a third-place finish behind Van Wormer and Bobby Pierce. Jon Henry and Jacob Hawkins completed the Top 5.

1September 30th, 2017 - Kent Robinson traveled to Florence Speedway (Union, Kentucky) on Saturday powering the Jones Oil Company #7r Super Late Model for the regular night of racing. Earning the 3rd-starting position for the feature via preliminary events, Kent took over the lead on lap 8 and held off the field in the remaining distance to capture his fifth win of the season.

1September 23rd, 2017 - Following the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS), Kent Robinson made the short trip to Brownstown Speedway (Brownstown, Indiana) on Friday evening for the Tribute to Steve Barnett. With 30 cars signed in, Robinson fell one spot short of a transfer position in his heat with a 5th place finish. Transferring into the B-Main for another shot at the opening night feature, Kent edged his way with the 6th and final transfer spot. Rolling off 22nd, Kent held his spot for all 30-laps logging a 22nd place finish.

Returning on Saturday night for the 38th annual Jackson 100, Robinson placed 6th in his heat race giving him one final shot at the $15,000-to-win finale with a B-Main appearance. Needing to place in the Top 6, Kent fell one spot short with a 7th place outing.

January 25th, 2017 - Traveling to a total of 33 events throughout the 2016 season, Kent Robinson reeled in two wins in his JB's Disposal Services #7R Super Late Model. Losing seven of his scheduled dates to bad weather, Kent posted 15 Top 10 finishes and five Top 5 outings.
