December 18th, 2013 - Kent Robinson recently put the wraps on an up-and-down 2013 season that had more than its fair share of emotions.  Now the Bloomington, Indiana driver is looking ahead to the 2014 season, which will see him pursuing the National Dirt Racing League (NDRL) campaign.

The 2013 season found Robinson mainly racing on the regional level, where he claimed six wins as he split his time between the Super Late Model and the Open Wheel Modified division.

For 2014 Kent is excited to announce that he will be embarking on a national series for the first time since 2012, when he competed on the World of Outlaws Super Late Model tour.

"With all of the craziness in 2013 we just had to spend a lot of time close to the house, so that I could look after the family business," noted the 26-year-old Robinson.  "However, for 2014 I'm excited to confirm that I will be pursuing the full National Dirt Racing League (NDRL) Super Late Model schedule, and I'll be gunning for the rookie of the year title as well as the championship."

The NDRL schedule currently has approximately 30 races nights on it spanning from February to October.  Robinson will begin competition with the tour in his #7r JB's Salvage/Keyser Manufacturing/Club 29/Jay Dickens Racing Engine Super Late Model during the month of January with a trip to Arizona and Texas for a total of nine, nonpoint races.

"I'm excited to start the year out in Arizona and Texas at two tracks I've never seen before," comments Robinson.  "Hopefully we can use those shows to get a jump on the year, so that when the point events start we can hit the ground running.  I like what the NDRL bunch is trying to do, and I'm excited to support it."

January's events include six races that will held during the 2nd Annual Winter Extreme, which spans January 11th-19th, at Tucson International Raceway (Tucson, Arizona) before moving to El Paso Speedway Park (El Paso, Texas) January 24th-26th for a trio of events.

October 26th, 2013 - Kent Robinson Racing brought their 2013 season to an official end on Saturday night in the Fall 50 at Florence Speedway (Union, Kentucky) as Robinson pulled double duty between the Super Late Model and Open Wheel Modified ranks. Unfortunately it would prove to ultimately be a nightmare outing in both divisions.

Super Late Model competition found a $5,000 top prize on the line at the 1/2 mile oval as 26 entries registered for competition. Kent earned the 4th starting spot for the feature on a very fast and rugged surface. He would quickly find his way to the lead in 50 lap finale, and appeared to be on his way to the victory for the second-straight year before a broken axle coming to the white flag ended his night.

Robinson's disappointment on Saturday evening wasn't limited to the Super Late Model ranks as he also competed in the Open Wheel Modified division. With 62 entries on hand to try and claim the $5,000 winner's check Kent started his night by experiencing a broken brake line in qualifying, which ultimately relegated him to a b-main. After transferring from the b-main to the feature in the 20th starting spot, Robinson encountered a broken, ball joint on the opening lap which ended his night.

The heartbreaking outings concluded Kent's 2013 campaign. He would like to thank all of his great sponsors and fans for their support as he now looks ahead to 2014.

With only the top three finishers transferring to the feature, he was relegated to the B-Main. In the consolation event he failed to reach a transfer spot to the feature as his night came to an early end.

Kent started his night by blazing to fast time honors in his group and overall in the Super Late Model ranks with a 14.121 second lap around the 1/3 mile oval. Heat race action found him jumping to a straight away lead before the motor expired in his entry ending his night early.

In the Open Wheel Modified division a stacked field of almost 60 entries was on hand, and Robinson again set fast time overall. He then won his heat race before recording a fourth place finish in the feature behind race winner, Mike Harrison, Levi Kissinger, and Larry Anderson.

1June 28th, 2013 - Kent entered his first UMP Summernationals event of 2013 on Thursday night at Clayhill Motorsports (Atwood, Tennessee). The $5,000-to-win event drew a field of thirty Super Late Models to the 1/4 mile oval as Robinson entered his first-ever event at the facility. A fourth place finish in his heat race locked Kent into the twelfth starting spot for the 40 lap finale. He raced around mid-pack early in the event before retiring from the event due to rough track conditions. He was credited with a twentieth place finish in the final rundown.

Friday evening found Kent competing at Paducah International Raceway (Paducah, Kentucky) in a $10,000-to-win, UMP Summernationals event that drew a field of 32 entries to the 3/8 mile oval. A third place finish in his heat race left Robinson starting tenth on the grid for the 40 lap finale, and in the 40 lap feature he would mount a solid charge forward to a fourth place finish behind race winner, Billy Moyer, Ryan Unzicker, and Shannon Babb. Overall it was a good night for the team.

Saturday night's scheduled event at Federated Raceway at I-55 fell victim to late afternoon rain.

June 22nd, 2013 - Kent Robinson Racing set out to enter two nights of racing over the weekend, but late evening showers at the Terre Haute Action Track (Terre Haute, Indiana) on Friday evening forced the cancelation of the evening's program, which was slated to see Robinson pilot the #85 Jones Oil Open Wheel Modified. Robinson made his way to Florence Speedway (Union, Kentucky) on Saturday evening to pull double duty in the Super Late Model and Open Wheel Modified divisions. With a $2,000 top prize on the line in the Super Late Model class a field of twenty-three entries filed into the pit area to do battle. Robinson started his night by winning his heat race, and in the main event battled for the lead before crossing the finish line in the second spot behind race winner, Greg Johnson.

A $1,500 top prize was posted for the AMS Open Wheel Modifieds, and the special event drew a stout field of forty-six entries to the 1/2 mile oval. In qualifications Robinson was second to only Bryan Barber in qualifications, which earned him the pole for his heat race. Kent stormed to the win in the heat race to earn a front row starting spot for the feature. Just like in the Super Late Model finale Robinson battled at the front of the pack for the duration of the event before finishing third behind race winner, Devin Gilpin, and Bryan Barber.

Qualifying resulted in Robinson starting sixth in his heat race before advancing to a third place finish, which locked him into the tenth starting spot for the 25 lap feature. Kent was racing around mid-pack in the feature, when contact sent him spinning in turn one with just five laps remaining. He would retire to a 22nd place finish.

Friday night found the winner's purse increased to $5,000-to-win as dual features were once again contested. Unfortunately Kent' night ended before it ever started when he got into the turn one wall in qualifying forcing him to retire from the remainder of the program as well as the weekend as his 19th Annual Dream 100 came to an end.

May 11th, 2013 - Kent Robinson made the trek to northern Illinois for a doubleheader of $10,000-to-win, Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) events over the weekend at La Salle Speedway (La Salle, Illinois).

Friday night saw Mother Nature rear her ugly head once again as heavy rain from Thursday night caused the track to be too soft and wet, and track officials were forced to postpone the program just before hot laps.

On Saturday evening better track conditions awaited the competitors, and thirty-eight Super Late Model pilots registered for business at the 1/4 mile oval. After qualifying tenth fastest in his group in time trials Robinson started fifth in his heat race. A fifth place finish in his heat race left him just short of locking into the feature, and as a result he had to run a b-main, which he won to earn the seventeenth starting spot for the 50 lap finale. With eighteen entries on hand for the program Kent started his night by winning the third heat race to earn a second row starting spot for the 25 lap finale. As the race went green Robinson began battling for the top spot and would contend for the lead until lap 23, when contact from another competitor caused him to spin from contention. He would retire to a sixteenth place finish.

In the b-main he advanced to a fifth place finish, but with only the top three finishers transferring to the $10,000-to-win, 50 lap finale, his night ended early.

Robinson would enjoy better luck in the Open Wheel Modified division as he piloted the #85 Jones Oil Company entry. With thirty-seven entries in the pit area Kent raced from the second starting spot in the second heat race to claim the win, which locked him into the main event in the second starting spot alongside pole sitter, Ryan Thomas. With passing being difficult in his heat, Robinson would fail to advance through the pack, which pinned deep in a b-main. His night came to an end in the b-main with a seventh place finish. The team will try for better luck on Wednesday evening. Full results from the event are available at www.DIRTCarNationals.com.

With only the winner moving onto the main event Robinson finished a close second. As a results, he was forced to utilize a series' provisional to start the feature in the 27th position. The 75 lap feature found him advancing ten spots on his way to a seventeenth place finish. Full results from the event are available at www.WoOLMS.com.

Thirty-eight Super Late Models entered the event, and Robinson again found himself in a hole after qualifying as he started deep in the heat race grid. With predominantly one-groove, track conditions present Robinson would be unable to race his way into the feature event and would be forced to use a WoO series' provisional to start the feature event in the twenty-fifth position. Robinson narrowly avoided disaster on the third lap, when Gregg Satterlee spun in front of him. Luckily Robinson was able to avoid contact as he spun. After rejoining the tail of the field on a one-lane track Kent raced his way to an eighteenth place finish. Full results from the event are available at www.WoOLMS.com.

During the course of the 35 lap feature Kent mounted a great charge forward through the field as he advanced fourteen spots to record an eleventh place finish at the checkered flag. For his efforts of passing more cars than any other competitor in the feature he earned the Hard Charger Award. Full results from the event are available at www.WoOLMS.com.

He failed to reach a transfer spot in his heat race, which forced him to a b-main where he was collected in a melee. He unloaded his back-up car and utilized a series' provisional to start on the tail of the feature. He would go on to record a 21st place finish.

Saturday night saw a $10,000-to-win event held at the southeast Georgia oval, and the team was hoping for better luck, but it would be another frustrating night.
