1July 14, 2018 - Wrapping up the DIRTcar Summer Nationals Hell Tour, Kent Robinson made the trek to Oakshade Raceway (Wauseon, Ohio) on Friday night for the two-day Birthday Race Weekend. In a stout field of 43 Super Late Models, Kent grabbed the 4th and final transfer spot in his heat race locking him into the 14th-starting position for the opening night feature. With $5,000 on the lien, Kent slipped back to a 21st place outing.

1The following night for the $10,000 top prize, Kent followed up the fastest time overall in qualifying with a heat race victory. Earning the pole position for the finale, Robinson dropped one spot in the 60-lap affair to place 2nd behind Zack Dohm with Frank Heckenast Jr., Brian Shirley, and Ryan Unzicker completing the Top-5 finishers.

1July 7, 2018 - On Friday evening Kent Robinson was one of 30 DIRTcar Summer Nationals Hell Tour entries signed in at Farmer City Raceway (Farmer City, Illinois) for the 16th round of the tour. After laying down the second fastest time in his qualifying group, Kent landed a 2nd place finish in his heat behind Shannon Babb locking him into the 6th-starting position for the $10,000-to-win A-Main. Breaking into the Top-5, Kent gained two spots to place 4th behind Billy Moyer, Brian Shirley, and Jason Feger with Tim Manville coming in 5th.

1Saturday night brought Robinson to Brownstown Speedway (Brownstown, Indiana) for the Mars Racing Series sanctioned Born Free 40. In a field of 27 Super Late Models, Robinson secured his spot into the A-Main with a heat race victory. Rolling off 3rd, Kent blasted into the lead on an early restart on the high side and paced the field in the remaining 37 circuits to pick up his first win of the season and a $5,000 payday. 1June 30, 2018 - Kent Robinson returned with the DIRTcar Summer Nationals Hell Tour on Friday night at Terra Haute Action Track (Terra Haute, Indiana) for the event co-sanctioned with the World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series. Drawing 25 cars for the 11th stop of the tour, Kent followed up the third fastest time in his qualifying group with a 3rd place finish in his heat. Earning the 7th-starting position for the feature, Kent improved two positions in the 30-lapper reeling in a 5th place finish behind Devin Moran, Shannon Babb, Mike Marlar, and Brian Shirley. 1The following night at Federated Raceway at I-55 (Pevely, Missouri) for another $10,000-to-win A-Main, Robinson edged his way into the finale with the 4th and final transfer spot into his heat race. Coming two spots shy of a Top-10 finish in the main event, Kent passed three cars in the 50-lap affair to place 12th.

1June 24, 2018 - Saturday night found Kent Robinson in action at Florence Speedway (Union, Kentucky) for the Schaeffer’s Oil Iron-Man Series sanctioned program. With 34 Super Late Models registered in for action, Robinson locked his spot into the $5,000-to-win A-Main with a 2nd place finish in his heat behind Jackie Boggs. Rolling off 5th, Kent jumped up one spot in the 50-lapper registering a 4th place finish behind Jason Jameson, Jackie Boggs, and Devin Gilpin with Eric Wells coming in 5th.

1On Sunday night Kent made his first start of the season with the DIRTcar Summer Nationals Hell Tour at Tri-State Speedway (Haubstadt, Indiana). In a field of 23 cars, Robinson recorded the fifth fastest time in qualifying earning him the 15th-starting position for the feature after threatening rained forced officials to scratch heat races. 1June 9, 2018 - With the weather postponing Thursday’s opener, Kent Robinson was one of 78 Super Late Models signed in at Eldora Speedway (Rossburg, Ohio) on Friday kicking off the 24th annual Dirt Late Model Dream. Holding his spot in his heat race, Robinson came up one spot short of a transfer position with a 6th place finish. Needing a 4th place finish or better in his B-Main to make the feature, Kent landed a 2nd place finish behind Chase Junghans. Breaking into the Top-10 in the A-Main, Kent Robinson passesd 13 cars in the 25-lap affair to place 9th.

On Saturday night Kent dropped three spots in his heat logging a 4th place finish. Rolling off on the front row of his B-Main for one final shot at the $100,000-to-win finale, Kent landed a 2nd place finish behind Mason Zeigler positioning him 24th on the starting grid for the feature. Wheeling his way into the Top-10, Kent Robinson improved 16 spots in the 100-lap affair reeling in an impressive 8th place finish.

1June 2, 2018 - Kent Robinson returned with the Ultimate Battle of the Bluegrass Series on Saturday night for the Johnny Wheeler Tribute at Brownstown Speedway (Brownstown, Indiana). With 15 cars signed in, Robinson locked his spot into the $3,000-to-win A-Main with a 2nd place finish in his heat behind Jason Jameson. 1May 27, 2018 - Piloting the #9H Open Wheel Modified, Kent Robinson visited Bloomington Speedway (Bloomington, Indiana) on Friday evening for the Josh Burton Memorial. In a field of 18 cars, Kent jumped up two spots in his heat race to place 2nd behind Ryan Thomas. Earning the 6th-starting position for the feature, Robinson gained one position in the 40-lapper registering a 5th place finish behind Ryan Thomas, Jacoby Hines, Derek Groomer, and Jordan Wever.

1The following night brought Kent to Daugherty Speedway (Boswell, Indiana) for the Ultimate Battle of the Bluegrass Series sanctioned Dick Potts Memorial. With 17 Super Late Models on hand for the two-day event, Kent followed up the fastest time overall in qualifying with a heat race victory. Earning the pole position for the $10,000-to-win A-Main on Sunday, Kent fell one spot in the 50-lap affair to place 2nd behind Brandon Overton with Tanner English, Chad Stapleton, and Jason Feger completing the Top-5 finishers.

1May 5, 2018 - Behind the wheel of the #9H Open Wheel Modified, Kent Robinson visited Bloomington Speedway (Bloomington, Indiana) on Saturday evening for the American Modified Series sanctioned JB Robinson Memorial. With 26 Open Wheel Modifieds on hand for the event honoring Kent’s late father, Robinson locked his spot into the show with a 3rd place finish in his heat. Starting in 9th, Kent jumped up two spots in the 40-lap affair to place 7th.

1After Saturday’s Ralph Latham Memorial at Florence Speedway (Union, Kentucky) was postponed by Mother Nature, Kent headed to Fayette County Speedway (Brownstown, Illinois) for the MARS Racing Series sanctioned program. Earning the 7th-starting position for the $3,000-to-win A-Main via preliminary events, Robinson gained one spot reeling in a 6th place outing.

1April 28, 2018 - Making his first start of the season, Kent Robinson visited Eldora Speedway (Rossburg, Ohio) on Saturday night for the Sunoco American Late Model Series sanctioned Lidlifter. December 20th, 2017 - The 2017 season saw Kent Robinson compete in a total of 49 events while visiting victory lane five times. With the weather determining the outcome of five of his scheduled dates, Robinson collected 19 Top-10 outings and 14 Top-5 finishes.

1December 16th, 2017 - Competing in his final event of the 2017 season, Kent Robinson traveled to The Dome at America’s Center (St. Louis, Missouri) on Thursday night for the second annual VP Racing Fuels Gateway Dirt Nationals. Drawing 94 Super Late Models for the a round of qualifying on Thursday, Robinson timed in 19th fastest in his group locking him into the 5th-starting spot for his heat race on Friday.

1Moving up three spots, Kent landed a 2nd place finish behind Chad Zobrist positioning him 7th on the starting grid for the $5,000-to-win preliminary feature. Returning on Saturday afternoon starting on the pole of his B-Main, Kent cruised to a 12-lap consolation victory earning him 10th-starting position for the $30,000-to-win finale. Running into trouble early, Robinson suffered a flat left-rear tire that retired him early from the 40-lapper. He was credited with a 21st place outing.

1November 11th, 2017 - On Saturday night Kent Robinson headed to Lake Cumberland Speedway (Burnside, Kentucky) for the Schaeffer Oil Iron-Man Series sanctioned event. With 34 Super Late Models signed in for the Finn Watson Memorial, Robinson started the night off with a heat race victory earning him the pole position for the $5,000-to-win A-Main. After leading the first 14-laps, Kent made contact with a lap car while navigating through traffic that dropped him back to a 16th place outing.

1October 8th, 2017 - Kent Robinson added another prestigious accolade to his accomplishment list over the weekend.

“This is truly something special to win this championship,” Robinson proclaimed. “To win a Super Late Model championship at a place that is so prestigious and has so much history means a lot to our team. At the beginning of the year, we circled this as a goal, and to see it come to fruition is very fulfilling. I just want to thank my family, my team, my sponsors, and all of my fans for their awesome support."

K-Rob traveled to the famed Eldora Speedway (Rossburg, Ohio) on Saturday to take part in the annual Allstar Performance DIRTcar Fall Nationals, which was sanctioned by the Sunoco Race Fuels American Late Model Series (ALMS). While the event was slated to only be a one-day affair, Mother Nature had other ideas.

Kent started the event by registering the fastest time of the 23 entries in qualifying on Saturday evening, and then backed it up with a heat-race win from the fourth-starting position. His preliminary performance positioned Robinson third on the starting grid for the 40-lap $5,000-to-win finale.

Early in the feature he worked his way up to the second position, but on lap 16 rain would begin to drench the ½-mile oval, forcing the final 24 laps to be postponed until Sunday afternoon.

When the race resumed Robinson challenged Van Wormer for the lead near the race’s midway point before ultimately slipping back to a third-place finish behind Van Wormer and Bobby Pierce. Jon Henry and Jacob Hawkins completed the Top 5.

1September 30th, 2017 - Kent Robinson traveled to Florence Speedway (Union, Kentucky) on Saturday powering the Jones Oil Company #7r Super Late Model for the regular night of racing. Earning the 3rd-starting position for the feature via preliminary events, Kent took over the lead on lap 8 and held off the field in the remaining distance to capture his fifth win of the season.

1September 23rd, 2017 - Following the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS), Kent Robinson made the short trip to Brownstown Speedway (Brownstown, Indiana) on Friday evening for the Tribute to Steve Barnett. With 30 cars signed in, Robinson fell one spot short of a transfer position in his heat with a 5th place finish. Transferring into the B-Main for another shot at the opening night feature, Kent edged his way with the 6th and final transfer spot. Rolling off 22nd, Kent held his spot for all 30-laps logging a 22nd place finish.

Returning on Saturday night for the 38th annual Jackson 100, Robinson placed 6th in his heat race giving him one final shot at the $15,000-to-win finale with a B-Main appearance. Needing to place in the Top 6, Kent fell one spot short with a 7th place outing.
