1September 12, 2020 - After promoters and race officials were forced to postpone the 50th annual World 100 to 2021, Kent Robinson was one of 48 Late Models invited to Eldora Speedway (Rossburg, Ohio) on Thursday evening to take part in the Intercontinental Classic. Following the 11th fastest time overall in qualifying, Robinson slipped back to an eighth place outing in his heat, sending him into the B-Main for another shot at the opening night feature. Locking in the Top 3, Kent passed two cars but failed to transfer with a fifth place finish.

With preliminary results from Thursday and Friday setting the grid for the heat races on Saturday, Robinson rolled off seventh for another shot at the $50,000-to-win Intercontinental Classic. Dropping one spot to finish eighth, Kent had one last shot at the main event with a B-Main apperance. Marching through the field to pick up the 15-lap victory, Kent earned the 20th-starting position for the main event. Running into trouble near the late-stages of the 67-lapper, Robinson was one of several cars that experienced terminal motor troubles.

1September 5, 2020 - Competing in his lone event over the Labor Day weekend, Kent Robinson traveled to Fairbury Speedway (Fairbury, Ill.) on Saturday night for the MARS Racing Series-sanctioned FALS Supernationals. In a field of 34 cars, Robinson followed up the third fastest time in his qualifying group with the fourth and final transfer spot in his heat race. 1August 15, 2020 - Kent Robinson visited Florence Speedway (Union, Ky.) on Thursday afternoon to take part in the Sunoco Race Fuels North/South Shootout. With 52 Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) entries on hand, Kent came three spots short of a transfer position in his heat with a sixth place finish. Needing to place in the Top 2 to make the $10,000-to-win A-Main, Robinson slipped back to a 15th place outing.

1The following night for a pair of heat races, Robinson came in second behind Chris Ferguson in the first round before Mother Nature postponed the second round to Saturday afternoon. 1August 8, 2020 - Saturday night found Kent Robinson in action at Brownstown Speedway (Brownstown, Ind.) for the 16th annual Hall of Fame Classic. In a field of 32 cars, Kent secured his spot into the $10,000-to-win A-Main with a heat race victory. Rolling off second, Robinson snuck past polesitter Greg Johnson on the fourth lap and led until lap 48 when Josh Rice pulled ahead. 1August 2, 2020 - On Friday evening Kent Robinson made the short trip to Kokomo Speedway (Kokomo, Ind.) to take part in the two-day Hoosier Dirt Shootout. Drawing 32 World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series entries for the event in place of the Prairie Dirt Classic, Robinson logged the 12th fastest time in his qualifying group, which positioned him 12th on the starting grid for the $2,500-to-win preliminary feature. 1With his 15th-place finish on Friday afternoon sending him into the B-Main on Saturday for one last shot at the $25,000-to-win Hoosier Dirt Shootout, Robinson rolled off 11th with the Top 6 getting locked into the A-Main. After persistent rain put an end to the attempt to run the B-Main on Saturday afternoon, continued rain overnight postponed Sunday afternoon’s program to a later date to be named.

Robinson piloted his JB’s Disposal Services No. 7r MB Customs/ Jay Dickens Racing Engine Super Late Model to the $5,000 victory with the DIRTcar Summer Nationals.

1Drawing 32 cars for the fifth round of the miniseries, Robinson followed up the third fastest time in his group with a third place finish in his heat. Rolling off ninth for the main event, Kent worked into the Top 5 by the ninth lap and began tracking down race-long leader Brian Shirley on the low side.

Sliding underneath Shirley on the final lap, Robinson rolled to his first win of the season by 0.326 seconds over Shirley, Tyler Carpenter, Billy Drake, and Tyler Erb.

“That was a lot of fun,” said Robinson. “At the beginning — well, actually heat race time — I wasn’t so sure of what to expect. I’d never been here, and was walking around, asking (Jason) Feger and other guys what gear to run. I like that challenge, but it just adds another level of difficulty.”

“Once I figured my car out a little and saw what the tires were gonna do, I could run a little bit harder and kind of got in a rhythm there,” Robinson said. “The cautions fell our way … we got lined up on the bottom on the last one (on lap 19), and then the lapped car (that hampered Shirley late in the race) kind of worked out too.”

The following night at Farmer City Raceway (Farmer City, Ill.), Kent secured his spot into the $10,000-to-win A-Main with a 10-lap heat race victory. Starting the feature in third, Robinson faded outside the Top-10 early before retiring early from the 50-lapper on lap 44. He was credited with a 13th place outing.

1July 4, 2020 - Kent Robinson was one of 38 Late Models on hand at Florence Speedway (Union, Ky.) on Thursday evening for the track’s season opener. After falling shy of a transfer position in his heat, Robinson scored consolation victory. Coming one spot shy of a Top-5 finish in the feature, Kent marched through the field 16 spots to register a sixth place finish.

1June 6, 2020 - On Thursday afternoon Kent Robinson was one of 48 Late Models invited to Eldora Speedway (Rossburg, Ohio) for the Dirt Late Model Stream Invitational after the 26th annual Dirt Late Model Dream was postponed to 2021. Losing one spot in his heat race, Robinson logged a ninth place finish, which transferred him into the B-Main. Needing to place third or better to make the $10,000-to-win preliminary feature, Kent fell three spots short with a sixth place outing.

After swapping out motors late Thursday evening, Robinson laid down the 14th fastest lap overall in time trials before grabbing the fourth and final transfer position in his heat. With $10,000 on the line in the feature, Kent jumped up one spot in the 30-lap affair to register a 13th place finish.

On Saturday afternoon with preliminary points determining the starting lineups for heat races, Kent dropped three spots to place ninth. Advancing through the field six spots in his B-Main, Robinson scored a third place finish, which positioned him 24th on the starting grid for the $50,000-to-win Dirt Late Model Stream Invitational. Running into trouble early, Kent Robinson was an early retiree from the 67-lap feature on lap 24.

1May 24, 2020 - After Mother Nature shifted Friday night’s program to Sunday, Kent Robinson traveled to Legit Speedway Park (West Plains, Mo.) on Saturday night for the Comp Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) doubleheader. Drawing 49 cars for the Missouri Hardwoods Back to the Future 50, Kent followed up the fourth fastest lap in time trials with an 8-lap heat race victory. After second-starting Steve Casebolt set a steady pace for the first 42 circuits of the feature, Robinson closed in on Casebolt after a pair of late-race restarts. Trying to utilize the high side to sneak around Casebolt on the final restart, Kent was unable to get around the leader, scoring him third on the rundown behind Casebolt and Payton Looney with Tony Jackson Jr. and Billy Moyer Jr. rounding out the Top-5. 1The following night for the West Plains Resaw Back to Business 30, Robinson laid down the second fastest time in his qualifying group before capturing an 8-lap heat race victory. With Karl Chevrolet boosting the purse to $9,000, Kent held his spot for all 30-laps to place fourth behind Jesse Stovall, Logan Martin, and Payton Looney with Timothy Culp coming in fifth.

1May 16, 2020 - With promoters and track officials mandating several precautionary measures to host the event during the ongoing Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic, Kent Robinson made the trek to 411 Motor Speedway (Seymour, Tenn.) on Saturday night for the Spring Sizzler. In a field of 35 cars, Robinson laid down the fastest lap in his time trial group before placing third in the Dash. December 10, 2019 - The 2019 season saw Kent Robinson compete in a total of 38 events behind the wheel of his JB's Salvage/Envy Suspension No. 7r MB Customs Late Model. With Mother Nature determining the outcome of seven of his scheduled dates, Robinson collected three wins, 14 Top-5 finishes, and 19 Top-10 outings.

1September 21, 2019 - Friday night saw Kent Robinson return to action at Brownstown Speedway (Brownstown, Indiana) behind the wheel of the Brad Cummings-owned No. 71 Crate Late Model entry. Drawing 28 cars for the Bowman 50, Kent fell short of the opening night feature with a 7th place finish in his heat. Sending the Top 3 into main event, Robinson logged an 8th place outing.

1Returning on Saturday night powering the Britain Godsey owned No. B14 Super Late Model for the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series sanctioned Jackson 100, Robinson logged an 8th place finish in his heat giving him one final shot at the $15,000-to-win A-Main with a B-Main appearance.  Needing to place in the Top 3, Kent fell short with a 6th place finish.

1September 7, 2019 - On Thursday afternoon Kent Robinson returned to Eldora Speedway (Rossburg, Ohio) kicking off the 49th annual World 100. With 98 DIRTcar Super Late Models on hand for a pair of preliminary features, Robinson improved two spots in his heat to pick up the 10-lap victory. With $10,000 on the line in the A-Main, Kent jumped up one spot in the 25-lapper scoring a runner-up finish behind Billy Moyer with Chris Ferguson, Jimmy Owens, and Dennis Erb Jr. rounding out the Top-5. 1For the second round of the World 100 on Friday night, Kent gained one spot in his heat logging a 7th place finish. Needing a 2nd place finish or better in his B-Main to make the final $10,000-to-win preliminary feature, Robinson came one spot short with a 3rd place finish.

Wrapping up the World 100 on Saturday night, Robinson and the crew discovered damage to his engine but was able to get it repaired before the start of his heat. Sending the Top 3 into the $52,000-to-win main event, Kent was battling for a transfer spot until getting slammed into the wall by another competitor that brought an immediate end to his weekend.

1September 1, 2019 - Kent Robinson invaded Eldora Speedway (Rossburg, Ohio) on Sunday afternoon getting a tune-up for the upcoming World 100. Drawing 38 Sunoco American Late Model Series entries for the 12th annual Earl Baltes Classic, Robinson followed up a 5th place finish in his heat with a runner-up finish in his B-Main behind Frank Heckenast Jr. Starting the $5,000-to-win A-Main in 19th, Kent was an early retiree from the 30-lap feature on lap 12.

1August 24, 2019 - Thursday night saw Kent Robinson return with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series for the second annual Dirt Million at Mansfield Motor Speedway (Mansfield, Ohio). With 56 cars registered in for action, Robinson came in 8th in his heat before placing 2nd in his B-Main behind Billy Moyer Jr. Earning the 20th-starting position for the $10,000-to-win preliminary feature, Kent gained four spots logging a 16th place outing.

Failing to place in the Top 16 in passing points, Robinson transferred into the B-Main on Saturday for another shot the $50,000-to-win finale.

Sending the Top 2 into the show, Robinson fell one spot short with a 3rd place finish.

December 6, 2018 - Kent Robinson traveled to a total of 37 events during the 2018 season where he captured two wins aboard his JB's Disposal Services/ Jones Oil Company #7r MB Customs Super Late Model. Losing ten of his scheduled dates to bad weather, Robinson recorded 23 Top-10 outings and 10 Top-5 finishes.
