Runner-up finish in Dirt Late Model Dream prelim at Eldora Speedway
On Thursday evening Kent Robinson traveled to Eldora Speedway (Rossburg, Ohio) for the 25th annual Dirt Late Model Dream. With a stout field of 92 Super Late Models registered in for action, Robinson jumped up one spot in his heat recording a 4th place finish. Starting the $10,000-to-win preliminary feature in 14th, Kent improved two spots in the 25-lap affair to place 12th.
1Returning on Friday evening for another round of preliminary features, Robinson laid down the fifth fastest time in his group before placing 2nd in his heat behind Chris Madden. With $10,000 on the line in the A-Main, Kent dropped one spot in the 25-lapper scoring a runner-up finish behind Jonathan Davenport with Ricky Weiss, Darrell Lanigan, and Jimmy Owens completing the Top-5 finishers. For the final night of the 25th annual Dirt Late Model Dream on Saturday, Kent posted a 6th place finish in his heat giving him one final shot at the $125,000-to-win finale with a B-Main appearance. Streaking to a 20-lap consolation victory, Robinson earned the 22nd-starting spot for the show. Falling two positions in the 100-lap affair, Kent Robinson logged a 24th place outing.
