Kent Robinson visits Eldora for Dirt Late Model Dream

Kent Robinson invaded Eldora Speedway (Rossburg, Ohio) on Wednesday afternoon to kick off four nights of racing with the 27th annual Dirt Late Model Dream. With the 74-car field split into two separate groups for a pair of preliminary features, Kent posted a seventh-place finish in his heat, transferring him into the B-Main for another shot at the A-Main. 1With preliminary results on Wednesday setting the grid for heat races on Thursday evening, Robinson came in seventh, giving him one final shot at the $127,000-to-win Dirt Late Model Dream with a B-Main appearance. Starting in 10th, Kent got collected with another car on the opening lap that knocked out his steering rack.

For another round of preliminary features on Friday afternoon, Robinson suffered a broken driveshaft in his heat race but rebounded to pick up the consolation victory. Starting the $10,000-to-win preliminary feature in 21st, Kent lost oil pressure that saw him pull off on lap 14.

Lingering engine issues forced him to scratch from his heat race on Saturday afternoon.
